Project Structure

The project will last initially for 12 months, until September 2009. Alongside governance and project management aspects, the initiative is delivered across four interlocking themes:

  • Gathering: This area of work focuses on identifying, collating and aggregating data on positive activities.
  • Processing: This strand delivers the relevant tools, infrastructure and assistance to enable data aggregation, and also an effective and robust platform from which to publish.
  • Presenting: This strand develops effective, attractive and appropriate ways for people to access and feedback on information on positive activities – from feeds to websites and digital television to social network widgets!
  • Learning: This strand focuses on the evaluation and learning from the project and is driven by ongoing consultation and the active participation of young people in the generation of content and feedback.
