Plings at 2morro
The Movieum, London SE1
On Saturday the 4th of July,(10am-4pm) as part of the 2morro festival, we will be launching the Plings project.
We'll be running a series of interactive sessions throughout the day designed to get young people working with information about positive activities in their area.
It would be great if you could join us; to meet the team, the young people and see Plings in action.

Developer Afternoon 2nd April
This event is aimed at anybody currently involved in working with local authorities, voluntary sector networks and national governing bodies (NGBs) to provide technical assistance to :
- Collect positive activity information.
- Aggregate positive activity data via the API
- Publish positive activity information using the output API
The event will include:
April/May Cluster Meetings
We will be holding a series of cluster meetings for local authority pilots duing April and May. These events will be particularly focussed on the output channels and tools being developed by the project, but will also provide an update on all aspects. Venues for each cluster are as follows:

Radiowaves
Radiowaves will be working with Plings to provide young people with a platform to publish podcasts and video reports and receive information or ‘Plings’ about activities happening in their area.
Young Advisors
Young Advisors are young people aged between 15 and 21, who show community leaders and decision makers how to engage young people in community life, regeneration and renewal.
They win commissions locally, regionally and nationally to support organisations improve their services for the benefit of young people and the wider community. Young Advisors are there to show adults how to discuss, design and consult with local communities throughout the decision making process at all levels of governance.
